What we collect
The only personal data Tolly collects is an email address, and only if you submit one through the waitlist form. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, your company, or any other identifying information.
Your usage report
When you upload a GitHub usage report CSV, it is parsed entirely in your browser. The file, and everything it contains, is read locally by JavaScript running on your device. It is never uploaded, never transmitted to our servers, and never seen by us. Closing the tab removes it completely, because it was never sent anywhere.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how visitors move through the calculator, and this analytics collection is cookieless: PostHog is configured to hold its state in page memory instead of a cookie or persistent browser storage, so nothing survives a page reload or is tracked across visits. We do not enable autocapture or session recording, and we do not automatically capture pageviews. Instead, we explicitly log a small set of product events: calculator_page_viewed, dummy_data_loaded, usage_report_parsed, app_teaser_engaged, waitlist_email_submitted, marketplace_install_clicked.
Who we share data with
If you submit a waitlist email address, we forward it to our email delivery provider so that we can notify you when Tolly opens; we send nothing else about you. Cookieless analytics events are sent to PostHog, our analytics processor. We do not share data with anyone beyond these two processors.
